We’re working with a community group in Leicestershire to create an “ultra-local vehicle” to respond to the service needs of a cluster of parishes.

With some initial funding from Comic Relief, we are consulting with the local community on their needs and aspirations. We’re working with residents, Parish Councils, statutory bodies, charities and local groups to test the best approaches for delivering services in this sparsely populated rural area. As well as developing a Community Business Plan we are looking to pilot these approaches with rural communities in Northern Ireland and Scotland.
