On behalf of the Rural Services Network, we organised and chaired a meeting on economic development.

The meeting was held on 20 March in London and covered three themes: (1) Shifting sands, the rise of the voluntary and community sector agenda; (2) Sharing the pain of funding reductions and deficit; (3) Cause for optimism – where next for economic development?
