Ivan Annibal is a nationally recognized expert in economic and community development, with a strong focus on coastal and rural issues. Known for his practical, hands-on approach, Ivan excels at delivering impactful programs and projects that create real change.
Currently, Ivan is working with local authorities on levelling up projects, collaborating with a charitable foundation to foster innovation in further and higher education, and training community researchers to evaluate transformative initiatives.
In addition to his project work, Ivan is the author of Hinterland, a fortnightly news review, and Casebook, a monthly newsletter for the Rural Health and Care Alliance (RHCA).
Ivan’s leadership extends beyond his consultancy work. He serves as Chair of Trustees for Rural Community Action Nottinghamshire RCAN, sits on the board of ACRE, and is a Senior Visiting Fellow at Lincoln International Business School. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Economic Development and currently serves as Operations Director at the National Centre for Rural Health and Care NCRHC.
