Jessica is an experienced researcher and project manager with 15+ years of expertise in local economic development and enterprise. She works with a diverse range of clients, including Government bodies, local authorities, businesses, charities, and community groups.
Currently, Jessica is evaluating neighbourhood-based initiatives and assessing programmes aimed at reducing NHS pressures and demand on adult social care services.
She is also the founder and creator of Rural Words, a widely circulated briefing where she shares her insights and experiences on all things rural.
Jessica is a Senior Research Fellow at the National Centre for Rural Health and Care, a Chartered Geographer accredited by the Royal Geographical Society, a Fellow of the RSA, and a member of the Institute of Economic Development.
