Part-time, 24-26 hours per week. 

** Must be able to work at least 24 hours a week (4 - six hour shifts a week). Must be available to work BOTH Saturday and Sunday as well as two other weekdays to be determined, additional hours available upon completion of training and full books.

Job Description: 

Sugaring Specialist, as well as interest in brow waxing, lash lifts, lamination, and spray tanning. Sugaring/Waxing experience is a plus, but not required as all training is provided onsite by team. Must be open to preforming Brazilians. You are also required to work front desk shifts while we train and get your schedule busier. 

Role Description The Licensed Esthetician will provide professional sugaring hair removal and others services to clients in an on-site setting located in Santa Barbara, CA. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing sugaring or other hair removal treatments, conducting skin analyses, recommending appropriate services and products, and maintaining a clean, compliant treatment room. The role involves greeting clients, managing appointment flow, delivering consistent, high-quality customer service, and supporting retail sales through product knowledge and education. This is a part-time position that may include afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts, with an expectation of punctuality, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Professional esthetics expertise, including Hair Removal and Skin Care skills, with a valid California Esthetician license.
• Experience is these services in encouraged, but not required. ** ONSITE TRAINING IN ALL SERVICES PROVIDED
• Foundational Cosmetology knowledge to support safe, effective treatments and product recommendations.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
• Sales abilities to recommend services and products ethically, support retail goals, and educate clients on at-home care.
• Attention to hygiene and sanitation standards, including strict adherence to state board regulations and studio protocols.
• Ability to work on-site in Santa Barbara, CA, stand for extended periods, and manage a consistent appointment schedule.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with reliability in part-time scheduling and willingness to learn studio techniques.
• Previous experience in a spa, salon, or studio environment is preferred but not required.
