What is the future of the caravan industry – and how will this affect coastal economies? 

We have supported a Local Authority to understand the impact of COVID-19 on caravan and holiday parks. This has involved a rapid evidence assessment, economic modelling, and surveys and interviews with people in the industry. 

The study found that although the caravan sector has been negatively impacted by the pandemic, it is resilient and some park owners have significant plans for investment as lockdown and restrictions ease.
