We are looking at the impact of place-based initiatives on community life. 

Neighbourhood based initiatives (NBIs), sometimes called community-led initiatives, are local projects or programmes aimed at improving community life. Our work is looking at the background to NBIs (and how these have evolved over time); collating information from local authorities, community partners and residents in specific neighbourhoods to look at their impact; and to see what good practice and lessons learned could inform neighbourhood working in the future.
