We are supporting a consortium of FE providers and employers to apply to become an institute of technology.

IoTs are collaborations between further education (FE) providers, universities and employers. They specialise in delivering higher technical education (at Levels 4 and 5) with a focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects.
We supported a consortium led by the University of Lincoln to successfully become an IoT in wave 1 (from September 2019). We are now working with providers, universities and employers in a different geography to help them bid to become an IoT in wave 2.
